Recomposed
Digital installation
Digital artwork created as a visual response to Max Richters Album Recomposed. The musical piece Recomposed is a contemporary interpretation of the classical piece ‘‘ Four seasons ’’ by Vivaldi. The artist Max Richter uses the original score as raw material ready to be cut, copied, pasted, transformed by different tools, and in the end arrives at new composition where we clearly feel the original artwork but revived and given a new dimension.

By the same analogy visual work that follows the sound is based on paintings from french Impressionism which are at first cut, then assembled, and finally transformed into 4 different digital interactive collages that represent 4 seasons. The colors and mood of collages are driven by music. The whole piece is played by quintet in front of digital collages displayed on a large QLED screen 3X5 m.
Images before represent starting points for digital collages. As the music starts it transforms into new forms and patterns.

Large QLED screen dominates space presenting musicians as silhouettes in this abstract and responsive digital dream.

Short video with couple of sequences from all seasons.
