Pottery design

Contemporary redesign for a set of pottery made in enamel. The set of products includes a teapot, coffee pot, small and big mug.

Design is the result of the New Memories competition / Peahen proposition was selected as one of the winning designs in a competition held in 2015.

Idea

Inspiration for the graphics came from traditional embroidery existing in the region. This type of embroidery is characterized by strong graphical elements usually smaller in size organized on plane background in groups. Round form proved to be the most interesting for a pottery application and at the same time represented a rich and colorful peacock or in the Yugoslav language - Paun.
